Can You Be Friends With an Ex?

for me the answer has become yes. strangely enough i used to vehemently side with the nay sayers but i retract from my former passionate stance because i have first-hand experience that it is possible. i am in a genuine friendship with "E" he and i just talk about our days now and shoot the shit like regular old friends. no ulterior motives. we didn't exactly end things on an affable note but i managed to make him realize his fuck up (because it really was his fault) and he acknowledged his mistake and i forgave him. and now we're buds. weird. but nice.
